Mains-fed or bottled

Mains-fed systems need a suitable water connection and model-specific installation checks. Bottled systems need a workable bottle supply, storage and handling arrangement. Neither route removes the need for cleaning and maintenance.

Chilled, ambient, hot or sparkling

Check which outputs the selected configuration actually provides. A cooler, a boiling-water unit and a multifunction tap are different systems. Confirm hot-water safety features from the exact model’s documentation.

Capacity and position

Compare verified output, recovery rate where applicable, dimensions, clearances and connection requirements. Consider peak use and accessible placement. A mains connection does not mean unlimited chilled output.

Price and ongoing care

Use current product prices or request a quotation. Ask separately about installation, filters, hygiene servicing, parts, labour and any rental term. Do not assume these are included in a monthly figure.
