Coffee Beans for Bean to Cup Machines
Not all coffee beans are suitable for bean-to-cup machines. Bean density, oil content and roast level all affect how a coffee performs in a commercial grinder and brewing system. At Café Perfection, every coffee bean in our range has been selected and tested specifically for use in commercial bean-to-cup machines.
What Makes a Bean Suitable for Bean-to-Cup Machines?
- Roast level: Medium roasts generally perform best in bean-to-cup machines, offering good extraction without excessive oil that can block grinders.
- Bean density: Denser beans grind more consistently, producing a more even extraction and better crema.
- Oil content: Very dark, oily roasts can cause build-up in grinders over time. Our beans are selected to minimise this risk.
