A mains-fed cooler uses a suitable connection to the building’s water supply, avoiding routine bottle changes. Choose the exact system for its output, installation requirements and care arrangements.

Check chilled output, not only connection

A mains connection does not provide unlimited chilled water. Compare the manufacturer’s output and recovery information under its stated conditions, then consider peak demand and bottle-filling use.

Confirm filtration and the site

Check the supplied filter or approved filtration option for the exact model. Confirm pressure, power, drainage where required, ventilation, clearances and access for servicing. Do not infer filtration performance from the cooler category.

Compare the whole arrangement

Include installation, filtration, cleaning, service and energy costs where supported. The absence of bottle deliveries does not prove a universal cost or environmental saving.

Plan care

Follow the model’s user instructions and confirm the filter and service schedule. Visits, replacement filters, parts and labour are included only where the agreed terms say so.
